Mt. Nebo & Madaba

So this last week was pretty fun. Daniel has classes Sunday-Thursday (which he's loving) then we have church on Fridays with field trips on Saturdays. This last Saturday our field trip was to Mt. Nebo and Madaba. Mt. Nebo is said to be the place where Moses saw the Promised Land and Madaba is known for its Byzantine mosaics and churches. It was beautiful!

And this is Madaba!

This is a pretty cool mosaic. It's a map of the Holy Land from the 6th century.

So needless to say Saturday was a blast and Daniel and I had a great time! It was such a beautiful day to see everything and we got some pretty neat pictures! 

Even though Daniel is super busy (you know...learning Arabic and all) he still makes time for me :) The other night he made me crepes which we were so yummy! He made me four and my favorite one was the one that had nutella, whipped cream, peaches and bananas. I am one spoiled girl :) 

 I can't wait to see what this next week brings. We are traveling to Wadi Mujib this Saturday. Let the fun begin!
